Composition

Otterbein trass lime FL B 2 is a "Formulated lime" acc. to EN 459-1. It consists of natural hydraulic lime NHL 2 and trass powder acc. to DIN 51043 as natural Puzzolan. The stabilizing process of trass lime FL B 2 is effected through carbonation and hydraulic hardening. Otterbein trass lime FL B 2 is free from cement!

Application

For the production of plaster-, stoneworking- and natural stone mortar, in particular in the ecological-biological construction of houses and apartments, in the renovation and preservation of historic monuments, for the reduction of the risk of efflorescence of salts damaging the basic structure of a buildings.

Storage

Dry, if possible on wooden shelves and protected against draft.

Safety instructions

Mortal will react very alkaline with water, thus: Protect skin and eyes, rinse thoroughly with water in case of contact, immediately contact doctor in case of eye contact.

Quality-monitored production

Otterbein trass lime FL B 2 is continuously tested in our plant laboratory within the scope of our in-house monitoring with respect to the fulfilment of composition and properties. This will ensure a uniform quality of the product. Otterbein trass lime FL B 2 has the quality certificate „Building lime“ and is certified acc. to EN 459-1.
